Hi, I’m Serdar. I’m an Aeronautical Engineer, and fundamentally, I’m just a "safety guy."

Over the past 9 years, I have had the privilege of working across the civil aviation spectrum. From a massive flag carrier to a dynamic holiday charter, and up to the global perspective of IATA Headquarters, my focus has always been on predicting and avoiding the next incident.

My expertise lies deeply in Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Flight Data Monitoring (FDM). I’ve spent years analyzing safety reports, building risk catalogs, conducting audits, and creating data products to make complex operations clearer for pilots and executives alike.

I built DirectVOR because I am passionate about blending my love for aviation safety with modern technology and AI. This platform is my digital "Swiss Army Knife"—a collection of the exact tools I want in my own daily workflow. It was built to help fellow safety professionals streamline their duties so we can all focus on what truly matters: keeping the skies safe.
